Jonathan Ross was seen putting on a spooky show for trick-of-treating children at his home in London on Thursday night.
The presenter, 63, who is well-known for putting on a lavish annual Halloween bash – famous for welcoming a whole host of celebrities – hasn’t hosted them since the pandemic and revealed he has stopped them due to his daughter Betty’s health.
Jonathan instead was seen giving out sweets to children at his elaborately decorated home which featured skulls, cobwebs, and a number of performers.
Spooky red lights were projected on to the Halloween characters to give the driveway an eerie touch, while huge pumpkins had also been placed outside.
Families could be seen lining up outside the property as they eagerly awaited their chance to get involved with the scary festivities.
The ITV star donned white face paint and green dyed eyebrows as he greeted kids along with performers dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, a wolf and a clown.
It comes after Jonathan revealed the sweet reason he has now cancelled his star-studded party which was previously attended by the likes of Dame Joan Collins, Holly Willoughby, Nicole Scherzinger, Alan Carr, Rita Ora and Michael McIntyre.
Jonathan revealed he would not be inviting any celebrities to his home once again out of consideration for his daughter Betty, 33, and her battle with fibromyalgia, a condition causing muscle pain and tenderness.
Jonathan, who also shares Harvey, 29, and Honey, 26, with wife Jane Goldman opened up on Good Morning Britain.
He explained: ‘One of our children isn’t well… it’s fibromyalgia which is quite debilitating. She’s back home with us and we’re looking after her.
‘My daughter, we thought she had Long Covid but discovered that she had fibromyalgia, so we want to be conscious of that and not have so much noise when she’s upstairs.’
Jonathan’s daughter Betty previously shared the news about her diagnosis on Instagram, writing: ‘Fibromyalgia? I hardly know her. This is me letting y’all know I got a Fibromyalgia diagnosis.
‘Shout out to the four people who all said they thought I had fibro, turns out y’all were right. There’s always a lot of weird feelings that come with a new diagnosis, but this one overall feels like a relief.
‘It feels like my pain being acknowledged, and that with this diagnosis I can better find ways of managing my pain.’
The party was cancelled for two years – in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic and the following year because his daughter Betty was struggling with fibromyalgia.
When it returned in October 2022, it was held at Camden nightspot KOKO for the first time instead of Jonathan’s famous home.
Spice Girl Mel C, Katherine Ryan, Wallis Day, Joel Dommett and his model wife Hannah Cooper and Charli Howard were also among the star-studded guest list at the bash last year.
