Meet the eligible royal bachelors,
Previously described as ‘the hottest British royal you’ve never heard of,’ Alexander Ogilvy has recently embarked on his next adventure.
The royal, who is 59th in line to the throne, has joined Sandhurst Military Academy.
Taking after his regal relatives, Prince William and Prince Harry, who also trained at the school, Alexander could be the next military man in the royal family.
A distant cousin of the late Queen, Alexander is one of many unmarried royals in Europe.
Read on below as MailOnline reveals the unwed aristocratic bachelors.
Alexander Ogilvy
Alexander is the grandson of Queen Elizabeth’s cousin – Princess Alexandra – and the son of James Ogilvy and wife Julia.
At 27-years-old, he enjoys a low-key life mostly out of the royal media spotlight.
He studied Economics and Computer Science at Brown University in Rhode Island and graduated in 2020.
Before university, Alexander was head boy at Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh, which costs £43,000 per year to attend, and achieved A*s and As.
He once dated a Kennedy – Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo (the granddaughter of Robert Kennedy) – and has since been romantically linked to society girl Isabella Charlotta Poppius.
Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece and Denmark
Prince Achileas-Andreas is the third of Princess Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos of Greece’s five children and was born in New York where his parents were then based, but they relocated to London in 2004 for their children’s education.
He attended New York University after his family moved to America when he was a teenager.
The royal is now an aspiring actor and appeared in US soap opera The Bold And The Beautiful alongside his aunt Princess Theodora.
Achileas-Andreas was with Isabella Massenet, who also attended New York University, though the couple seem to have split according to reports in Tatler.
Arthur Chatto
Another royal heartthrob, 25-year-old Arthur Chatto, is a member of the Royal Marines and sits at 30th in line to the throne.
He is Princess Margaret’s grandson and the youngest son of Lady Sarah and Daniel Chatto.
Arthur attended Westminster Cathedral Choir school and then followed William and Harry by going to Eton College.
At Eton, he was in its Combined Cadet Force, which teaches pupils a range of military skills. Afterwards, he followed his older brother Sam to Edinburgh University.
The adventurous royal is also said to be a fan of outdoor sports, including mountain climbing. He has even been ice diving in Greenland and climbing in the Alps.
Sam has along-term girlfrien,d Lizzie Friend, who was a fellow Edinburgh University student.
Count Nikolai of Monpezat
Another unmarried royal is Count Nikolai, 25, whose father is Prince Joachim of Denmark – the younger brother of Queen Mary’s husband Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark.
He is seventh in line to the Danish throne and launched a new Instagram account last year to promote his modelling career after he was stripped of his ‘HRH’ status by his grandmother, Queen Margrethe.
The account now has over 100k followers and he regularly posts photos of his modelling on catwalks and lavish holidays.
He has been with Danish model Benedikte Thoustrup for some time and according to Hola, the couple live together.
Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark
The late King Constantine II’s grandson, Prince Constantine Alexios, has close ties with Britain’s royal family.
He is Prince William’s godson and attended Wellington College where Queen Victoria’s grandson, Prince Christian Victor of Schleswig-Holstein, also studied.
Although Greece’s monarchy was abolished in 1973, the descendants of King Constantine II have maintained their titles and represent the nation.
Back in June, Constantine was pictured with Sports Illustrated star Brooks Nader in New York.
He has also previously been romantically linked with actress and model Poppy Delevigne after they were spotted together last year.
